Born and raised in New England Lisa has had a passion for makeup since her childhood. Starting dance at 3 years old she fell in Love with the performing arts. This later led her to her journey in the world of pageantry. Lisa had three major goals that she had set forth. The first goal was to be the first female of her family to graduate from college, the second goal was to win an international pageant, and the third girl was to start up a successful business.  As of 2017 she reached and surpassed her goals!

 

A graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, she went into the marketing and public relations field. However, she knew that she wanted to follow her passion and combine her love for the performing arts and makeup. This led her to continue her education at a Paul Mitchell school and she received her license in Esthetics in 2012. She worked for Aveda as a freelance makeup artist and Esthetician for 3 years and became agency represented out of Boston/Los Angeles with MLR Artist Management before she decided to open her own business in 2015. That is when LAVO Beauty was born.

 

Since then LAVO Beauty has been named #1 skincare and makeup boutique by NH Magazine, won multiple awards for best makeup, best spray tan, and facial in the Union Leader! LAVO has had the pleasure to work with top names in the business including The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Golf Network, HGTV Tiny House Nation, Miss USA  Jet Blue and Corky Mesner for US Senate. She has recently expanded and opened a brand new location and added a variety of new, on trend services to the menu. She is continuing to add talented artists in hair, makeup and esthetics and feels strongly about consistently advancing her education throughout her career.
